Welcome!

My name is Rachel, and this is my blog: Design on a Doubloon.
Basically, I am recording the process of making my pirate costume that I plan to wear to a renaissance faire. My cousin and I go every year as pirates, and his costume is always really sick; mine is always a really lame mod-podge of stuff I find last minute in my closet. Well this year,  I plan on looking alot better. The best part? I'm doing it on a budget.
